Re: Grouping questions
I guess I view whats been done as brainstorming and Pete's
volunteering to better organize the questions would be the
next step. I guess in addition I would tend to produce an
outline based on a set of categories and then put the relevant
questions into each of the categories. This way we can see
better if all the issues have been covered and if they have been
adequately addressed. I guess I volunteered to do this, so here's
some thoughts. At the top, I would like to see the questions
pertaining to the most general expectations one has about a
computer system. Thus:
general expectations of a computer system
ease of use (could be broken into installation and use)
questions about plug&play or autodetect
questions about intuitiveness
questions about consistent look and feel
stability and security (this would include anything that
would keep one from using their system such as
crashes and viruses)
assistance (good documentation, user support, etc.)
misc. (brand recognition, questions that don't seem to
fit anywhere)
Things now get a lot harder, but here's a try.
features and capabilities of a system
networking
internet
gaming
special hardware (such as multiprocessor,speed,etc.)
emerging technologies (telephony, multimedia,etc.)
Well, at least some thoughts.
