The plan from the beginning has been to work with existing groups to
accomplish our goals. That is why are starting from an existing
distribution, and that is why we will be coordinating very closely with
existing groups such as Debian GNOME, and hopefully RedHat to whatever
degree possible.
As such, there is a need for people to be scoping out all the existing
projects. We cannot start to work with any project or team until we know
what they have and how they got it.
If anyone here is wondering what they can do, that's it. Try out
everything you can get your hands on. Write up all the information you
gather, and your opinions, *formally*, to be posted on the website. Once
we have an idea what's out there, we can make informed and productive
decisions Until then, we're stalled.
