Canned tools like swat and linuxconf while, being user-friendly, always add
additional and totally unwanted and hence confusing lines to config scripts.
These are know to cause problems. Besides being dangerously M$'esque.
In my experience, it's best to open these flat files in your favourite
editor and do it by hand a-la the dirty way. In this case dirty meaning very
very clean and precise.
After all, you have to know what you are doing in the dirty way.
With a canned tool or mouse, you can click away till doomsday or worse.
