All of that, but that's not asking for much.  K12Admin is kind of aimed at
the specific problems of district wide Linux server maintenance (we have
45 linux servers in our district now, with 3 labs and a couple of clusters
of diskless linux x-terminals).

What he's asking for could be done with the "adduser" command.  I assume
RedHat comes with some nice GUI tool for managing users on a single
machine.

K12Admin's strong point is that it allows each individual school in the
district to maintain their own accounts while keeping a homogenous
district username space.  It also means that users can move between
schools with the same account information


I think I'm getting off the advocacy topic here.  :)
