[seul-edu] Squid Proxy Help

Hello guys,

	We just installed two proxy servers for our international link two
months ago. And i could say its been functioning quite well until lately.
Requests/min stats of the proxy box have been increasing which could be 
attributed to our other internet link being down.

	I am having problems running out of file descriptors in squid. Can
anybody point me to a site or doc that i need to consult with regards to
this? I remember reading somewhere about increasing file descriptors and
inode's but i can't remember where :(
	
	Specs of boxes are:
	PIII 600Mhz
	512MB RAM
	9.1GB SCSI on an Adaptec 2940U2W

	If anybody have any other recommendations especially in tweaking
squid, it would be very much appreciated.
