[seul-edu] New educational(?) project
This new project, while it isn't specifically educational in nature,
has educational implications:
http://www.libergnu.org/index.html
The no-profit association Liber Liber and Project GNUtemberg! are
working together to develop an editor and a browser for the Open
eBook format, licensed under GNU GPL.
Among the members of the Internet community, they has been a lot of
talk about the eBook format during the last months. There is no
widespread application released under a free license able to use the
eBook formats we have today. There are a lot of programs we don't
have to pay for, but the meaning we are giving here to the word
"free'' is what is written in the GNU GPL license, the legal
counterpart of the "GNU manifesto'', by Richard Stallman.
