Given the nature of the organization that we'll represent (basically,
non-existent), I suspect neither of us will be able to afford long trips
to distant, expensive conferences on a regular basis.  At least, I know
that I can't.  It would be very helpful if email and/or telecommuting
participation is possible.  I know that's not your call, Mike; I mention
it now so we don't seem to be putting extra demands out if it didn't
come up till later.
