General Education Online Passes 5 million hits / First Interview Conducted

The Internet, March 17th, 2003 -- General Education Online passed 5.25
million grand total website hits recently, as the site continues to grow at
an astonishing rate.  During 2002, the most recent full set of statistics
available, General Education Online experienced over 50 % growth in most
key categories, with 20 % growth for unique visitors to the website.
Although statistics for the first quarter of 2003 won't be available until
early April, analysis of current statistics indicate that GEO is on track
for its goal of 2.5 million website hits and 500,000 visitors.

Michael Viron's first interview concerning GEO was conducted on March 8,
2003 by Freenode Radio.  A full audio copy (in ogg format) is available at

GEO in the next few days.  Freenode Radio has assisted General Education
Online in more quickly disseminating key information.
