  I concur that Conectiva has been the easiest Linux distro to install
 and maintain. This is from my experiences with Slackware, Redhat, Suse,
 Mandrake, TurboLinux, Debian, Corel, Conectiva, FreeBSD, et al. 
Conectiva's RPM/apt system is very easy to use, at least as easy as Debian's.

 The Apt suite of tools is very reliable and effective.
 It also allows you to tell the client that is a drop-in replacement for
 Redhat. Many IT guys wont touch it if it isnt familiar to them.

  Conectiva's base installs are very lean compared to other distros, and
they rarely turn on services that are not needed in the default installs.
My only gripe is that it doens't have XFS filesystem support on the install,
however i've never had problems installing XFS from source and CVS.
