Thank you, Gentlemen! I believe that Linux has a great future in education
and Government. The problem is getting the vendors to believe that. The
largest software purchaser in the world is the US Government. Just think of
what we could do if the DoEd was able to keep the same and used Linux? Talk
about quality education and decent pay for educators! Also, I think Linux
causes the students to think, experiment, and create. It's roots encourage
it. Once students take the responsibility to learn, we become educators, not
social workers, and the kids win out.
