Which country/state are you in.
A good starting point would be the Dept. of Education in England. You may not be in
England but they've researched and developed a national strategy for the deployment
of IT in schools for nearly 20 years and now this extends to a national internet
policy called 'The National Grid for Learning'. Every education authority in
England has a team of IT specialists to guide all of the authority's teachers.
You can get the national curriculum documents they're not expensive.
I should also prepare a list of books at some point and post it. Patience please, I
have to run a software company at the same time as doing all this.
