Regional Expos en general

Getting the word out (about anything) is tough, the trick is knowing 
when and where the 'expos' will be held. What is the intended audience? 
For example: When is the next teacher conference? administration? linux 
geek session? PC expo? Does anyone know of/can suggest a good calendar 
site that tracks this stuff by region/topic?
