EDU How-Tos

Hello,

I am hoping to start writing and getting other to write EDU How-Tos.  Here
is a basic format that I think would be helpful.

1) We give titles that explain a project, for example.  LINUX SERVER &
LINUX WORKSTATIONS, or LINUX SERVER & MAC WORKSTATIONS or CONFIGURING EXPAN
on A LINUX SERVER (it's manual explains how to set it up on NT and Novell,
but not Linux).
  
2) We reference other how-tos and good books so that we don't rewrite (and
maintain) existing material.

I know that there are lots of quirky things that we will need to document.
How to get different software to run in a mixed environment, how to
configure mac/win software to run on a client when on a Linux server, etc.

Of course EDU howtos that are designed for users would also be useful.  You
know the ones with screen shots and explanations.  Here's how you use KLyX
to make a bibliography, or do a long quote, etc.

Does this sound like a decent framework? 

Anyone want to help write some?  

I can write one for the Linux Server, Mac lab (but of course I would be
happy to let some else do or work with me).  I am currently working on
Linux Server, NT lab -- sorry some apps I need just don't exist on linux
(however, I am going to be devious and create dual boot systems (second
priority will be to get the Linux, Linux systems working though).   

I look forward to hearing from volunteer and people with good ideas.
