We'll welcome RedHat support in whatever fashion it's offered, I'm sure. As I'm sure
you've seen from our discussion, we see Schoolforge as a central navigational aide for all
projects dealing with providing free resources for education and as a "watering hole"
where all projects/interested individuals can join together to talk about their efforts
and how to reach their goals. We don't want to compete with Open Source Now in this, but
we feel (when I say "we," I'm assuming that a sizeable group of people on this mailing
list agree with me) fairly strongly that this coalition needs to be perceived as neutral
and not tied too closely to any particular project of company. That's why we see a
separate Schoolforge.net domain and website as desirable.

That's been our plan at SEUL/edu for some time. We don't want to be in the distro
business. If we can provide a CD with educational packages on it and each distro can
develop installation scripts for that CD, we think everyone will be best served.

That doesn't mean that we frown on K12KTSP, BlueEDU, or any of the other
education-targetted distros under development. We just want to make sure that whatever
distro a school chooses, educational apps are easily available and installable for them.
