RE: [seul-edu] Star Office Color Printing
I just installed KDE 2.0.1 on a Red Hat 6.2 system here. Haven't had much
opportunity to play with it yet. BUT I have tried opening MS Excel
spreadsheets in KSpread and got a SIGSEV11 in KSpread. Uh oh. FWIW,
KOffice apps pop up and are ready to go very quickly. It seems much leaner
than Star Office, which takes me ages to start. I haven't had an
opportunity to really use KOffice yet so no opinion on useability or feature
set at this time.

Robert,
I'm planning on installing and trying KWord soon. Can you tell me a little
more about how it is working for you? Does it run well on older hardware?
What version are you using?
Can't help you with your problem, unfortunately.
Thanks,
