Re: [seul-edu] Intro and Help please
Hello Ben.
Fantastic work!!! Criticism of any form is the only sure sign that you are
doing something very valuable and imp. If people have time to be critics,
then you sure are right on track, dead on. Of course, you already know that.
I would love to help out with the Project. I have extensive industry-level
experience in PHP and MySQL and have to date been involved from Proj Mgr to
Lead Developer etc in over 40 sites and 9 portals - most all in PHP and MySQL.
I have also worked in Germany and UK for over 4 yrs in my 16 yrs of
experience.
Additionally, I have taught PHP, Oracle DBA/Tuning and Linux Networking for
a year in an esteemed Engg college here in '99 [sabbatical].
I think this project is so imp. that I am happy to skip other activities as
long as it takes.
I also have about 6 experienced co-programmers who are willing to give
varying amounts of their time.
I might also mention that I have [solo] developed a 70,000 word PHP
programming tutorial; I have cut thro the hype, included a liberal amt of
humour, wyriewyt [read, exactly, type] , and guarantee can get my very
discerning Granma upto speed in a month.
This would help produce more PHP programmers later down the line.
All PHP queries can be mailed to me on my tutorial and I will be glad
hand-lead the novices as they baby-step into PHP.
This is how I helped make over 98 students in to well-paid programmers to
date.
Hope I can be honoured by being of any assistance.
Thanks
Rajiv
