Linux (including distro) is not ONLY different, it is versatile. Nobody
can tell that Linux is this or that. User interface is not as uniform as
under Windows, so I feel like I am confined into something restrictive
when I have a rare need to work in Windows. But then, I do not use GUI
much. If I did use StarOffice, probably I had no difficulties with
Windows.

Indeed. I do not know how to be productive in Windows apart from 
printing some simple papers.
