Doug,

Your ideas are key.  Generally, a computer lab in the schools I have worked
needs to be more flexible than a single use.  Which is sometimes
frustrating.  But if we can cover, math, writing, keyboarding and in some
cases (email & web access -- which aren't a problem) with easy example uses
-- tutorials (I am not sure lesson plans are needed), then people will
comfortably use Linux in schools.
