SEUL, a comment . . . . (fwd)

A comment from a former co-worker...  Most of us know that PPP is a PitA  
(Pain in the A** :) when it comes to setting it up, and most distribs 
completely ignore it, even though it's by far the most common way for 
people to be connected.  Something to think seriously about when we get 
around to networking stuff.

I was taking to some coworkers today about microsoft's "business practices",
and the talk shifted to how recent revelation made them vulnerable to
alternatives, should the market believe they exist. THe talk turned to Linux,  
of course, since most everyone here runs Linux on their PCs at home (we have   
Suns as our desk tops at work!). Anyway, I mentioned SEUL, and one of them said
the number one problem they ever had installing linux was getting it configured
to use PPP with an ISP, that Linux fought them all the way.   

So, the feedback from here is, have SEUL set up by default to use PPP, and make
it easy to configure for various ISPs.
