LGDC announcement

Hi,

When and where do we want to "release" the announcement? 

As to the "when" I assume as soon as the Homepage is in a somehow
representable (expr?) state.

And where?  On one of Slashdot and Freshmeat - but on which one?
In some newsgroups? Which ones? 
comp.os.linux.announce?
comp.games.development.programming.misc?
comp.games.development.industry??
the game-dev mailing list? (who is subscribed to that?)
