Which is a shame. Mailing lists are sort in the ascendency again, because
newsgroups
do get large and then noisy and then spammy. Mailing lists can be smaller and
more
concentrated.
Mind you, nothing's going to defeat the determinedly clueless bar execution, and
off-topic
isn't a capital yet, as demonstrated by all the people who fill programming
groups with adverts
for this umbrella they want to sell...
