For some cases, like the gaming web sites (like games.yahoo.com), it
might look like a generic interface to multiple games on a single
meta-server is going on, it is not really: you start by choosing your
*game*. It is just that the game itself is a web application, but that's
different than the meta-server.

This is not true on Microsoft's gaming zone (www.zone.com). On the Zone, you
visit it as a regular web site. There are "rooms" for the various games. You
can jump from room to room, chat with people, etc. When you decide you want
to play a game, you click on a control on the web page and the browser
launches your game. You do not choose the game first.
