I wasn't so much centering the idea around tux, that was just one of the
probable characters.
The idea was to take established icons from around the internet, ie: OS
Mascots, Company Mascots, Well Known People, etc (Would need 12 in
total, the 8 player characters, 3 sub-bosses, 1 boss). Then either a)
Get the copyright holder to agree to have their
name/character/image-there-of used, or b) Parody said object, change a
few letters in the name and have it implied to what it was.
Then get the game made, and make sure during development that it's
portable to as many platforms as possible. It's still very much just an
idea.

I've actually thought the alternate mascot (the fox, don't have a url
handy) would make a better player. I couldn't quite figure out how it
would be possible to animate tux into a fighting game. Hmm, then again,
the closest playing style that would fit would be E. Honda.
