I think we are linked from there, but IIRC we don´t have a link *to* the
ring. You know this previous-site-in-ring - ringlogo - next-site-in-ring
thingy.

I´d wait. Rebuilding the site for the database is likely to break
something. And if that happens shortly after the big announcement we´ll
piss of the maximum number of people ;)

That´s the other thing speaking against an announcement now - we´d have
to tell all those people to wait until after the switch for their
contributions to be added.
