While I can find laptops that are mostly Gnu/Linux compatible, it is
hard to find one that not only lets me run Gnu/Linux but also has full
3D functionality.
Ideally, I would like a lighter, 3d capable, long-lasting battery
laptop, but I'm afraid that my choices might be reduced to the portable
desktops.
Then I realized that someone on this list might already be happy with a
laptop that fits the bill. Any suggestions? I've been hoping to find
something decent at around the $1000 range, but I might be overly
optimistic.
I'd be using this laptop to both play games and to develop my own.
