Crystal Space CD-ROM. How much interest is there?
I'm considering creating a CD-ROM for Crystal Space that you
can order from me. This CD will contain at least the following:
- General info about how to subscribe CS mailing list, access CVS, ...
- Full unpacked CS 0.16r003 (soon to be released) source, data, and docs.
- Full unpacked latest CVS snapshot.
- Binaries for 0.16r003 for most OS'es (i.e. at least Windows and Linux).
- Working Blocks game (executable, source is in CS).
- Source for Tunnel Fighter and working executable.
- All levels that still work and are free for use with CS.
- Repository of free textures useful for CS.
- Repository of free models useful for CS.
- Screenshots.
- DJGPP free compiler and everything you need to compile CS on DOS.
- MingW free compiler and everything you need to compile CS with that.
- Free 3D modelers that are useful for CS (QuarK, Blender?, ...)
- Anything else? (one thing that comes to mind is stuff from other projects that are using CS).
I will only go to the trouble of procuding all this if there is enough interest in such a CD-ROM. So if you are
interested, just give a mail. Also indicate how much you would like to pay for this. I have never done this
before so I'm not sure what a good price would be (price should obviously include the costs I need to make
to produce the CD-ROM and the shipping cost).
Greetings,
