Eeks! xlockmore! Check out xscreensaver, at http://jwz.org/... It is a
"manager" kind of program that starts any program as a screen saver then
kills it when there is activity, so writing a screen saver is a matter
of writing a simple X11 program. Many are included are they are quite
simple, you can probably start from one of the simpler one and change it
into what you want without much effort (there are a few utility
functions included to help out).
