Draw some 2 colour cursors for the game to use? Based possibly on the designs of
the full colour ones you're porting from?
They don't have to be the SAME two colours for all the cursors: any two colours
on any cursor is OK.
Look at some of the Enlightenment ones for examples.
{This is exactly what I'll have to do, because my stuff will run either
windowed, in which case I'll want X11 doing the cursor or in hardware OpenGL in
which case I've got 32bit RGBA to use.}
