Re: SGI releases OpenGL sources!
Correction: SGI has released the source for GLX (the interface between
OpenGL and Xlib).
I speculate that they didn't do this to compete with Mesa, but they did
it to help. SGI has always supported Mesa, mentioning it just about
everywhere they can. It _is_ "a really good free OpenGL", but it's
lacking a few things, most predominently a complete implementation of
GLX. I suspect the SGI GLX source release is intended to change that.
