GTK+ cannot (???) be used with OpenGL. Can anyone explain why? I
have given it some thought but could not arrive at any possible
explanation since I an not aware of the internals of X.
But I can say that if GTK widgets have to be rendered on OpenGL
surfaces, all the OpenGL transformations have to be bypassed while
drawing those widgets. So I guess without support from X, this should
be impossible.
