I think most projects are either looking for developers or wouldn't mind
having more ;)

I don't think this would be useful. If someone likes to contribute to a
project, she should just choose some existing project and join there.
The Linux Game Tome, linuxgames.com and, to a smaller extend, our site,
have lists of existing projects.

Another (related) thing: Some time ago someone (Ian?) suggested that we
feature some "game project of the month". New projects, promising projects
having problems finding developers etc. A good idea IMHO. Add to TODO.
