Fwd: new distrib -- Berolinux
I checked it out a bit. It looks like it might be pretty good, or at least
be worth working with. They've "gotten slashdotted", so they closed the
ftp site. I'll send them a brief mail offering to help out if I can help,
or at least to get some more info.
Makes me worry about what's going to happen to me when you guys get
slashdotted. But we'll deal with that when it happens. ;)

There is a new Linux distribution out. See (http://www.berolinux.za.net). It
is RedHat 5.2 based and includes kernel 2.2.1, XFree86 3.3.3.1, GNOME, KDE,
and an optimized Pentium+K6 binary. It contains no proprietary software and
thus is freely distributable. Perhaps it could be used to create a K12
distribution by adding educational software to it.
