Hi. I have a bunch of packages at 

http;//cran.seul.org/~donovan/RPMS/

t1utils : a bunch of packages for handling type1 fonts
ttf2pt1 : a true type to type1 font converter

freefonts : A new and improved freefonts package that
	includes the metrics, and automatically	installs the fonts ( with
	type1inst ) and configures ghostscript.

Could someone test the fonts and try installing them into Star Office ?
