How many people in this list are using Winmodems?  I have seen
at linmodem.org that fair number of them are supported in Linux.
It would be a good deal of work to support them but if many
people are using them then we should support them.

But I really would like some help with this issue, even if it
is only sorting hunting the drivers and putting them in one 
place where I can get them.
