RE: (FC-Devel) requirements

I have to agree with Brenton on some of this.  I am currently doing a lot of
DCOM development, and there is a major benefit to having the IDL.  It
creates a very nice interface document.  I would be willing to use one of
the free corba implementations as long as there were no major objections.  I
suppose it would be easy enough to add bridges to other technologies.

I also want to bring up a point that has been mentioned before.  I would be
strongly in favor of finding a way to use CVS as the ultimate backend for
information storage.  Since the repository and versioning is already done
there.  Any suggestions as to how this might impact the requirements would
be appreciated.
