Eek, I'm not good at legalese.

Dear all. I've read both Jeff's and Jason's points on this.
I agree that this issue should be resolved as quicklike as possible.

My vote:

GPL unless.

Let me explain: GPL for every part that is usable as it is. 
Think of Duane Griffins  "small inter-operating components".
LGPL for some parts that needs some tweeking to make it usable
for a third party, but only _after_ a vote that it really is
and will be such a part. 

I don't feel strongly on this, however, so I'll go with the flow.
