[Computerbank] Gnumeric and XLS files

Hi All

I've been using Gnumeric a lot lately and have found that if you start by
saving as an excel file and then change your file format to gnumeric you get 
syntax errors on a lot of your formulas.

The Excel format seems ok and both Gnumeric and Excel cope with it well.

I would suggest that people stay with xls rather than resave.

With Abiword ( I use it a lot too) it reads and edits then resaves .docs
pretty well. 0.9 is even better.
