Bill has had his operation

Good news!

Bill's operation for a vein transplant between his groin and ankle went
very well.  :-)

I am unaware what was done to his foot but nothing drastic, thank God. He
is expected to stay in hospital until after this weekend.

The faxes and cards have been great for him, the flowers look beautiful and
his visitors have helped him a lot. Keep it up guys, Bill deserves it.

Just in case, the info about visiting, faxing, cards, etc., is repeated
below.
