RE: minimum specs

Hi,

For a web-surfing type machine, I'd recommend (as minimum) a p-75 with 24
megs/ram & a 500+ hdd.

I have managed to get a minimal X + gnome + Netscape in <150megs... with no
services running at all....  It made a very nice surfing machine.

Just wondering about minimum specs for reasonable websurfing type
machines, needs to be able to run X (probably fvwm) and netscape4.

Also what distro is best suited to low mem and storage machines,
I think I remember that debian has one of the more lean installs.
