As it happens the office has just got in a set of SPARC Debian potato
CD-ROMs. The office's 40MHz SPARCstation-10 is no speed demon compared
to the 200MHz Pentium-Pro running linux on my desk.
Similarly a SPARCstation 1 at 20MHz was a nice xterm, but no speed demon.
<http://www.sunhelp.org/faq/sunref1.html> has info on the older Sun hardware.

My point was that Sun boxes with 17 and 21" screens would make damn nice
xterminals if nothing else.
